The Sauer-Our cycle-track, offers all lovers of nature the possibility to enjoy without strain the beauty of a calm and picturesque landscape between two rivers, which have lost nothing of their original charm. Quiet villages with established tourist reputation offer genuine hospitality. Bicycles may be rent at the Tourist office.

Historical circuit Hoesdorf-Bettendorf
The historical "Hoesdorf-Plateau" circuit is related to the dramatic events that took place in this area in 1944/1945. What is now a peaceful and pleasant landscape, was once the site of fierce fighting and human suffering.
The map shows various "tour stops" with more detailed narrative panels of the circuit.

Walking-tracks
A large net of different walking-tracks along the natural and tourist attractions will please tourists and outdoor fans. The beautiful walking-tracks along the Sauer, the Our and other wild rivers, trough the lovely countryside and along nice rock formations will charm every walking fan. A regional plan of walking-tracks may be purchased at the Tourist office.
